AAP continues to woo the people, more supporters joining the party

Banker campaigns for AAP in villages
New Delhi, Oct 23: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is garnering support from all across the country, with professionals leaving their highly successful professions to lend a hand to the party in its election campaign.

And the latest one to join is Meera Sanyal, who was until a few months back was heading the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in Mumbai. She joined the AAP and is now a part of the door-to-door campaign.

She has been campaigning for the AAP in the villages and has been interacting with people to garner support for the party. She will contest the 2014 general elections from south Mumbai. "I hope all these people will support me," she said.

She goes on to add and says that her support to AAP is irrespective of the party's performance in Delhi. We want to work together and make a difference in my city too, she says.

Earlier former CEO of Star TV Sameer Nair joined the party to look after the communication of the AAP.
