Mumbai, July 17: In an incident that shows the VIP culture treatment of the Indian politicians, it has been reported that the Maharshtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar recently sent a notice to two engineers as he was not served an ice cream after lunch.

According to reports, the incident happened on Monday when Pawar had stopped at a state-run guest house in Aurangabad to have lunch, as he was on his way to Jalna district to address the party workers.

When Pawar asked the house-keeping staff that what was on menu in dessert, then they said there was nothing available in dessert.

After the incident, Pawar's supporters complained to the District Collector's office and show-cause notices were sent to the two engineers for the "lapse".

NCP supporters have even demanded that the house-keeping staff should be suspended as their leader could not get the sweet dessert.

However, an NCP spokesperson refused to give his reaction on the incident while saying, it is "too small to react to".

But the opposition BJP has slammed Pawar's such arrogant behavior.

BJP leader Vinod Tawde was quoted as saying to NDTV, "I would've been happy if a district official not providing electricity to a village had been prosecuted, but taking such an action for not serving dessert is ridiculous."
