Ralegan Siddhi (Maharashtra), Dec 13: The spat between social activist Anna Hazare and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to the open on Friday when the former asked AAP leader Gopal Rai to leave the rally where he is undergoing a fast for the last four days after Rai got involved in an argument with V K Singh, the former army chief and now close to Hazare.

Some people think they are bigger than Anna Hazare, said V K Singh

Hazare told Rai that one should not speak when somebody else is talking and instead of creating a ruckus in the ground, he should sit out the ground.

During his speech, Singh also took an indirect dig at the AAP leadership, saying some people think they have become bigger than Hazare. Rai later hit back at Singh, accusing him of betraying Hazare to join hands with Modi. Later, sources said that the AAP leadership asked Rai to return from the rally. Rai said he would leave Hazare's place but not his side while waging the battle for the Jan Lokpal.

Hazare is fasting to pressurise the government to clear the anti-corruption bill in the current session of the Parliament.
