Paint attack on Kulkarni: Will Sena-BJP dismantle for civic polls?
Mumbai, Oct 13: A day after Shiv Sena workers attacked former BJP member and head of a city-based think-tank, Sudheendra Kulkarni with paint, reports have now emerged that the incident may have caused tensions between BJP and its ally Shiv Sena.
Reports now suggest that both the parties may dismantle their ally for the upcoming civic elections.
6 Shiv Sena workers held for paint attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni
If reports are to be believed the Shiv Sena would contest all the 122 seats of the Kalyan-Dombivali civic polls solo.
Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the attack on Kulkarni and said that Shiv Sena had brought a bad name to the state.
Six Shiv Sena workers were arrested in connection with the paint attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni, a former BJP member and head of a city-based think-tank, earlier in the day.
The arrest came hours after police registered an FIR against unidentified persons for blackening the face of Kulkarni.
