Security breach at Maha swearing-in
Mumbai, Nov 7: Was there a serious security breach at the swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Maharashtra held on October 31? According to a report published in IBN Live on Friday, a self-proclaimed member of the BJP Mumbai's Bihar cell shared the dais with the party's top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the report, the man named Anil Mishra met PM Modi and took photographs with him. He also spoke to party president Amit Shah and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and others.

Mumbai Police later found that Mishra's name neither featured among the list of those who were allowed on the dais nor on the VVIP list, the report said. No entry pass was also issued to the man. The police are now trying to find how Mishra got into the VVIP zone.

Besides Modi, Shah and Fadnavis, BJP patriarch Lal Krishna Advani, several Union ministers and chief ministers of states ruled by either the BJP or its alliance partners wee present at the swearing-in ceremony which was organised at the Wankhede Stadium here.

Fadnavis and nine other ministers were sworn in in front of a crowd of over 25,000. Fadnavis also became the first BJP chief minister of Maharashtra.
