Mumbai model allegedly raped by policemen inside police station
Mumbai, April 24: A 29-year-old model was allegedly raped inside a police station in Mumbai on April 4.Three policeman and a woman are among those six arrested in connection with the case.
The model fearing for her life left after the incident but sent a text message to Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, who then ordered action in the case.
Maria then called the woman and after speaking to her ordered for action. Cases of rape, sexual harassment and extortion have been filed against two assistant police inspectors, a constable and three others.
According to news reports, the model said that she had gone to a five-star hotel for an audition and when she came out she was stopped by policemen, who forced her to get into their vehicle.

The model was then taken to a police station where she was allegedly raped. She even said that the policemen then extorted Rs 4 lakh from her to let her go.
The model's friend then arranged for the money in the middle of the night and finally was able to take her home.
