Mumbai, Jan 8: Alka Punewar, who had gone missing for nearly one week, has been found in Chennai. Now, the 49-year-old actress along with his boyfriend. Mumbai Police on Wednesday, Jan 8 informed that they have filed a case against the actress for allegedly giving false information to the cops to divert their attention.

Alka is married to Sanjay Punewar and the couple have two sons. The Marathi actress, who has acted in a few Bollywood movies, has a daughter from her first marriage. She met 25-year-old Alok Paliwal in a social networking site and the duo fell in love.

Alka along with Alok made a fake abduction plan following which they eloped from Mumbai and reached Chennai. However, Alok later ditched Alka and escaped from a hotel taking her expensive jewelleries and other valuables.

According to Chennai Police, Alka later approached cops in the city and revealed the reality how they had staged an abduction drama on Dec 27 in order to baffle her husband.

Chennai Police official was quoted as saying, "The woman seemed strange and she refused to divulge more information about her."

"She demanded the cops allow her to meet the police commissioner. Police personnel got suspicious about her and they took her to the Vepery police station, where she revealed the incidents happened," the official added.

Earlier Alka's husband got a phone call from an unknown caller who informed the actress' family that she had left her drama troop following a heated argument.

Later Mumbai Police found her car fallen in a deep valley in Khopoli on the Mumbai Pune Express highway. The actress had left home on Dec 27 and headed for Pune where she along with her troop were scheduled to hold a function.
