Keenan's father, speaking to reporters outside the court said: "Am happy with life imprisonment to guilty. They should live every moment thinking about Keenan-Reuben."

Keenan and Reuben were stabbed by the accused after they tried to protect their friends who were subjected to eve-teasing and molestation.

The accused were misbehaving with the women and were passing lewd comments when Keenan objected to the same. The four accused left only to return ten minutes later with 20 men.

Armed with weapons, the accused attacked Keenan, who died on the spot. When Reuben rushed to his help he was stabbed too. Reuben succumbed to his injuries ten days later.
