Ganesh Visarjan turns into a nightmare for woman

, Sept 20: Its Mumbai and its Ganesh Visarjan-a deadly combination for women and a great opportunity for lusting perverts.

Amidst the crowd of thousands, there is a lot of nudging and pushing as it is, but this could be a nightmare for women as was the case of this woman who was caught being molested in a CCTV camera. She was first harrowed and then repeatedly groped and pinched. Surprisingly, there was no one to help her within the milling crowd.

After the rape cases reported in the city and the innumerable trials and the verdicts, things continue to be the same. Women continue to be harrowed and molested. Despite security being beefed up in such occasions, police are rendered hopeless as there are several such cases in the crowd during such occasions.

However, police have something else to say about the incident here. Senior Police Inspector Sunil Tondwankar of Bhoiwada police station said, "There was a fool-proof ‘bandobast' at the spot. We have not come across any such incident or complaint so far."
