Mumbai Shocker: Driver's body found in Bollywood actor's swimming pool

Mumbai, March 19: Bollywood veteran actor Ranjeet, who had played villain's role in many Hindi films, may face legal trouble as his driver's body has been found in the swimming pool inside his house in Mumbai, police told on Wednesday, March 19. However, it was not yet clear whether it was an accident or a case of suicide. The body of Nagraj Gowda was found Tuesday night.

Speaking about the incident, Ranjeet was quoted as saying, "My wife went to monitor his sugar last night. She found his body in our swimming pool. We immediately pulled him out and took him to the hospital, but he was declared dead before admission."

The driver was working with Ranjeet for the past 30 years. His last rites will take place in his hometown Karnataka. Continuing hi statement, the actor also added, "He was like our family. We still don't know whether it was (a case of) suicide or by accident."

"The case is with Juhu police station right now. I really don't know whether he fell into the water or jumped. We don't how he slipped out of the room when his brother and son both were there," he added.

According to reports, 44-year-old Gowda was suffering health issues and he was a patient of diabetes. He was also undergoing dialysis.

In another incident, an infant's body was found in the swimming pool of another Bollywood actor Mohnish Behl. The body of the infant girl was first found by the caretaker of the farmhouse. Gender of the infant is confirmed only after the postmortem. Having horrified by what happened in this house, Mohnish Bahl who never wanted to sell this farm house (as he grew up there) has changed his plans. Now, he is looking forward to sell this house.
