UP: 2 killed, 4 injured in blast near Faizabad court
According to reports, one of the dead person is said to be a gunman.
After the violence, heavy police personnel and Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) has been deployed outside the court premises, to take control of the situation.
The firing incident reportedly happened as the former SP MLA Chandrabhadra Singh alias Sonu Singh from Isauli, Sultanpur and his brother Yashbhadra Singh alias Monu Singh had appeared in the court in connection with a hearing case.
Due to some old rivalry, attackers started firing at them in which Monu Singh got injured. The miscreants even attempted to kill Sonu Singh as they hurled bomb at him, but he survived.
Additional Director General of Police (law and order) Mukul Goyal told that it was not a terror attack. "Efforts are on to arrest the attackers", he said.
In 2006, Monu Singh had surrendered in the court in the murder case of Sant Gyaneshwar.
Sant Gyaneshwar was shot dead along with his seven aides near Handia in Allahabad in 2005, when their carcade was intercepted by armed assailants.
