Rahul Gandhi's two-day visit to Amethi postponed

Amethi, Jan 9: Congress party's Vice President Rahul Gandhi's scheduled rally at his parliamentary constituency Amethi on January 10, Friday has been reportedly cancelled due to "water-logging" at the Ramlila ground premises.

Rahul was scheduled to kickstart a slew of railway projects, inaugurate 10 branches of the State Bank of India and to lay the foundation stone for an FM radio channel in Amethi.

On 12 January, a rally of Aam Aadmi Party is scheduled to be held at the same Ramlila Maidan where Kumar Vishwas, who is likely to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha election from the seat, will take part.
