Muzaffarnagar Riot
Lucknow, Sept 19: Despite tremendous criticism, Uttar Pradesh Police have not arrested any politicians so far in connection with Muzaffarnagar riot case. Arrest warrants have been issued against some politicians including BJP leaders. However, police sources informed that they would not arrest any politicians till Friday, Sept 20.

The cops reportedly did not want to court any clash with the supporters and followers of the accused politicians who allehedly had given hate speeches ahead of the riot which left more than 40 people dead and many injured in Muzaffarnagar and adjoining areas.

The Police seem to have been waiting the Uttar Pradesh assembly session to end. The House will end its ongoing session on Friday.
