Rajnath Singh to visit family members of a slain journalist
Earlier BJP leader Uma Bharti was detained while she was trying to enter into Muzaffarnagar. Now, Singh's visit might create ruckus in the region. All leaders were barred from visiting the region as it was feared that their visit will further incite violence in the area.
Meanwhile, UP Police confirmed that more arrests are likely to take place. Non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against another BJP leader Sangeet Som. The leader has been accused of triggering riot after circulating a fake video. The video, which according to investigating officer,s was shot in Pakistan and was two year old. It was said that the video was shot in Muzaffarnagar. According to reports, the video captured the moment when a group of Muslim men allegedly had attacked and killed two Jat boys.
