Mulayam accuses BJP of polarisation
Lucknow, Sept 8: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday hit out at the ruling BJP government at the Centre and said that the 'BJP was playing a dangerous game.'

Addressing rallies in Mainpuri ahead of the bypolls, Yadav said that the BJP was polarising Uttar Pradesh on communal lines ahead of the bypolls.

"For political games, BJP can do anything, even play dangerous games. They excel in telling lies and spreading rumours. They promised that they will bring back black money, bring more employment but nothing happened," he said while addressing the crowd here.

SP had earlier also criticised BJP after tensions gripped parts of Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar following clashes that broke out between two communities a few weeks back.

Focussing on the bypolls he said: "If we win these elections, it will mean the SP can form government in the future."

Bypolls on the state is scheduled on Sept 13.
