Lucknow, April 29: AAP candidate from Lucknow Javed Jaffery is confident of winning the elections and wants to change the transport system if elected.

Speaking to CNN-IBN, Jaffery said that all the problems that exist today is due to corruption. "Communalism and corruption have eaten like an acid into the system. Mayawati made Rs 6000 crore parks in Lucknow, that money could have lifted the city altogether. This is the public money," he said.

On asking whether AAP pulling out of Delhi in 49 days was a mistake, Jaffery said that 'it was a mistake at that time.' "I agree he (Kejriwal) should have given 2-3 more days and consulted people. But allegations against him are all rubbish," he said.

He added that the AAP is extending its hand to the youth in the country. "We have MLAs who are 26 year old. Rahul Gandhi is regarded as a youth leader, at 40-45 you can't be called 'youth' he said.

Speaking about the current mud-slinging indulged by politicians, Jaffery says that AAP has never used such language. "We talk on facts and figures and don't pass such jibes," he said. Jaffery said that he would devote time between his acting career and his life as a politician.
