Durga Nagpal shows SP leader the door
Lucknow, Aug 28: IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal, who was in news for taking on the samn mafia in Uttar Pradesh, is back in the news again for her strict discipline and order.

Nagpal, who is now posted in Mathura as the Chief Development Officer (CDO), showed the door to a Samajwadi Party leader and his aides.

It all began when SP leader Jageshwar Yadav had come to meet Nagpal in her office regarding some borewells and when Nagpal said that he needed to wait as she had some other important work to attend to, Yadav reminded her that he belonged to the SP.

It is said that the leader refused to budge and forced Nagpal to leave her work and listen to him.

That is when she asked the leader to leave her office and even asked the security guards to make sure that the leader left. But before the gurads could arrive, Yadav left.

In July 2013, Nagpal was suspended for allegedly taking on the illegal sand mafia in Uttar Pradesh. The SP government was heavily criticised over Nagpal's suspension and had to revokke the suspension orders.
