FIR lodged against BJP leader for inflammatory words against Mulayam

BJP leader calls Mulayam 'budhau'
Lucknow, Sept 13: The Moradabad district administration in Uttar Pradesh has lodged an FIR against BJP leader Sadhvi Dr Prachi for allegedly making inflammatory remarks against Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Dr Prachi allegedly termed Mulayam as "budhau" during an election rally in Thakurwara constituency of Moradabad and asked whether the latter would say "ladkon se galti ho jati hain" (boys will always make mistakes) if any untoward incident happened with his family members. The SP supremo made the remark during the general elections held earlier this year.

A notice was also served to BJP candidate from the constituency Rajpal Singh for violation of model code of conduct.

Sadvi Prachi also allegedly warned during her speech that if people continued to vote for the SP, the day would not be far when loudspeakers at temples would be pulled down.

She remained defiant even after legal steps were taken against her, saying senior SP leader Azam Khan was instrumental in getting the case registered.
