Bachelors Modi & Mayawati will form relationship soon: SP candidate
Lucknow, March 29: After Congress's Imran Masood, Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate from Kairana Nahid Hasan invited trouble by making derogatory remarks against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra modi and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati.
Hasan, whose constituency falls in Muzaffarnagar which caught the headlines for all wrong reasons last year, said in a public rally that since both Narendra Modi and Mayawati are bachelors, they could soon form a relationship. He also said that Mayawati has already sat on Modi's lap thrice. Hasan was booked for the remark.
BSP slammed SP for Hasan's remark, saying it always resorted to such antics
The BSP slammed the ruling party of the state, saying it alsways resorts to such antics during elections. The party said it would file a complaint with the Election Commission for such below-the-belt attack.
SP leader Rajendra Chowdhary said he did not know what Hasan said, adding that such remarks are not welcome.
This is not the first time that Hasan has been in news for the wrong reasons. He has two cases against him related to the Muzaffarnagar riots.
