AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal reaches Varanasi to address mega rally

Varanasi, March 25: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal reached the Holy City by train on Tuesday morning where he will address a mega rally seeking referendum on contesting BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from here in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The man arrived in the city along with his family.

Speaking to the Headlines Today, Kejriwal said the upcoming fight is between the people of India and Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. He said the country is looted by the UPA and NDA by turn and the people must stop this. He said Modi has roped in tainted people to somehow get 272 seats.

Kejriwal is set to address a roadshow at 1.30 pm and will address a rally at Beniyabagan Maidan at 3 pm.

The AAP is expecting around a lakh people at the venue.

Kejriwal said the fight is between the people of India and Rahul and Modi.

Party leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh were already in Varanasi. Sisodia said the fight in the upcoming Lok Sabha election is not between individuals but between honest and dishonest politics.

The BJP shifted senior BJP leader MM Joshi, the sitting MP from Varanasi, to Kanpur to accommodate Modi. The latter is also contesting the Lok Sabha election from Vadodara seat in Gujarat.
