Vasundhara Raje criticises recruitment at Raj University
State BJP chief Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday tried to woo the students as she lashed out at the Law College of the Rajasthan University (RU) criticising its recruitment process.
At the campus to inaugurate new student's union office, Raje addressed the students and said: "Recruitment in RU should not be repeated like what had happened in the Jodhpur University. Appointments should be given only on the basis of merits by keeping personal relations aside in order to secure bright future for students."

She then went on to add that she hoped here appointment was on purely merit basis. The students will suffer if the teachers are recruited on the basis of personal desires and not because of their abilities, she said.
She also took a dig at the Congress government in Rajasthan for increasing unemployment in the state and said that the party wanted the people to live with self respect and not money given as charity by any political party.
She motivated the students to work harder and said: "By virtue of hard work, success can be assured."
