Asaram doubts police's motive; report on various medical tests awaited
On Monday evening, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) were taken. The accused, Asaram, was taken to MDM Hospital at Jodhpur in an armoured vehicle for the tests.
Asaram talked only to a woman staff at MRI centre
DNA reported that during the 20-minute journey to the hospital, the godman asked authorities to open the sunroof of the vehicle as he was feeling suffocated. Meanwhile, the tests continued for about one and a half hours but Asaram was reportedly wary of the tests. The man did not agree to the blood tests as syringes were used for the same. Moreover, he even questioned police's motive, asking if the police would get his narco tests done after the injection.
Should we say shockingly or rather, as expected, Asaram reportedly did not converse with any male staff at the hospital, but he had talked to a woman staff at MRI centre. After coming out of the hospital he had to be supported by police officials to get on the riot control vehicle in which he was brought.
The board that conducted the medical tests also consisted of a neurology expert. Court will decide whether or not to permit outside food for Asaram based on the reports that are awaited.
Asaram was arrested after the complainant, in the FIR filed with the Jodhpur police, explained how she allegedly was assaulted by the spiritual leader who reportedly first switched off the light of his room and then started molesting her touching her private parts.
