Asuncion, June 12: It is not only the capital of India which is burning intolerably this year. In Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay, it is so hot that chefs can cook a meal on the hot asphalt road and then it is served to a table full of people!

To raise awareness about the threats of global warming, the WWF International has released a two-minute video titled 'Global Warming menu' which was shot in the Paraguayan capital, which was recently named as one of the hottest places on the earth, to raise awareness on global warming.

In the video, several people were seen standing outside a restaurant in the city to watch the local chefs cooking dishes on the sidewalk.

Eighty per cent of Paraguay's native forest has been destroyed in the last 50 years, said the video, adding that not much awareness has been raised on the matter at any quarter.
