US Presidential polls 2016: 'Hillary Clinton to announce her candidacy on April 12'
Washington, April 9: As the US Presidential polls are scheduled to be held in 2016, there are reports that the former US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton will announce her candidacy on Sunday, April 12 on social media.
As per a report published in LA Times, Clinton's team of Democratic operatives is preparing the groundwork for the presidential campaign-in waiting, before the formal announcement.
In February 2013, the former First Lady, Clinton bade adieu to her role as that of the US Secretary of state and was replaced by John Kerry.
For 68-year-old Clinton, 2016 presidential polls are being seen as a platform to make a powerful comeback in politics.
Her staff team has been reportedly told to prepare for an official announcement at any time in the next two weeks, that is expected to be first announced on social media followed by a live declaration.
Hillary also has her own support group, "Ready for Hillary", which in April 2014 raised $5.75 million and used the opportunity to promote her candidacy.
