In Pics: America booms with anti-Trump slogans during ‘Not My President’s Day’ rallies
On the occasion of annual President’s Day event, Americans organised ‘Not My President’s Day’ rallies.
Since the time Donald Trump was elected as the president of the US last year, Americans have been regularly staging protests and rallies against him. On Monday, once again several parts of the country witnessed mass protests staged by people who are opposed to Trump administration. In fact, protests were hosted as a part of President's Day annual event. Thus the agitators called their protest marches as 'Not My President's Day' rallies.
Here we bring you a pictorial view of the protest rallies held across the US...
It’s a pan-American protest
‘Not My President's Day' rallies were hosted in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia and more than two dozen other cities across the country.
Protesters shout anti-Trump slogans
Most of the agitators were seen singing anti-Trump slogans. Many carried placards that read ‘Not My President' and ‘Resist'. The protesters also chanted ‘No Ban, No Wall'--a reference to Trump's executive order on travel by immigrants and his still-unbuilt wall along the Mexican border.
More anti-Trump rallies in future
Protesters told the media that they were going to host several similar rallies if Trump administration did not stop creating division in society.
