Texas, June 10: Days after the shocking video became viral, the infamous police officer in McKinney, Texas, has been forced to resign from his post.
A video, which was taken when police raided a pool party, became viral on internet. In the video, Cpl. David Eric Casebolt was seen pulling his gun on teenagers in swimsuits and shoving a young black girl's face in the ground.
The incident took place on Friday, June 5. Soon after the incident the officer was placed on administrative leave and investigation was launched to find out all details.
Speaking about the incident at a press conference on Tuesday, June 9, police spokesperson said, "Our policies, our training, our practice doesn't support his actions. He came into the call out of control, and as the video shows was out of control during the incident."
On Friday, the police officers were informed about a fight and a disturbance at a community pool in Craig Ranch, a racially diverse subdivision north of Dallas.
Responding to the complaint, the cops rushed to the place. In the video, the accused officer was heard shouting profanities at the teenagers, and officers handcuffed several who had followed his orders to sit on the ground.
However, the girl refused to listen to his command and the officer grabbed the girl and pin her to the ground.
