Sylvester Stallone sends brother to Haridwar to perform dead son's 'shradh'
Haridwar/Washington, Oct 14: Hollywood legendary actor Sylvester Stallone who was shattered after the untimely death of his 36-year-old son Sage Stallone in July 2012, got his shradh performed by his relatives in Haridwar recently.
According to reports, 69-year-old Stallone sent his half brother Michael and his wife to Kankhal, Haridwar to perform 'tithi shradh' for the departed soul, on last Saturday.
The ritual of performing shradh was suggested to Stallone by a renowned astrologer Prateek Mishrapuri in Los Angeles in 2014.

Stallone reportedly told the astrologer that he still sees his dead son Sage. To ensure that Sage's soul rest in peace, Stallone told his half brother to perform shradh, as he wanted to avoid media attention.
After performing the shradh as per the customs, they left for Philadelphia.
Michael also performed the shradh of his sister Toni Ann, who passed away at the age of 48 in 2012.
Sage was found dead at his apartment on Los Angeles three years ago, after suffering from a heart attack.
Performing of shradh rituals with full faith has a divine effect on the departed souls.
