Spain: Woman passenger makes emergency landing after pilot loses consciousness
Madrid, Aug 25: In a rarest of rare case of landing an aircraft, a woman passenger in Spain made an emergency crash-landing after the pilot in her plane reportedly died.
A woman passenger who had no flight experience was asked to perform the terrifying landing of the light aircraft near Seville in Spain, the Metro.co.uk reported.
The pilot believed to be the passenger's husband.
The woman suffered internal injuries while the pilot was pronounced dead when emergency services reached the landing site.
"The woman kept flying, she did not know how to fly, so they guided her from the control tower to see if she could control the plane until landing it at the airport," said an emergency services spokesperson.

After being apprised by woman about the situation, a helicopter was sent by airport staff to help her guide to made it to the runway as safely as possible.
