Riyadh, Jan 18: A Burmese woman has been beheaded in Saudi Arabia. The deceased was accused of sexually abusing and killing her stepdaughter.

The deceased was a resident of Saudi Arabia. She was publicly beheaded in Islam's holy city of Mecca, media reports stated on Saturday, Jan 17.

Murder

One video was uploaded on Youtube, however, it was removed later following the policy on 'shocking and disgusting content.'

The woman, who was identified as Layla bint Abdul Mutaleb Bassim, was seen being dragged through the street while she was screaming 'I did not kill. I did not kill.' She was later beheaded by a sword in three blows.

The Independent in its report said that she was convicted of the sexual abuse and murder of her seven-year-old step-daughter. She had beaten her stepdaughter to death with a broomstick.
