Report: North Korea fires two short range projectiles

North Korea fires short range projectile
Seoul, July 2: North Korea has fired two short-range projectiles into watersoff its east coast, however there are no further details on the same.

Reports suggest that the projectiles were launched on Wednesday. Meanwhile the South Korean Defence Minitry couldn't confirm the report.

This comes to light a day after South Korea rejected North Korea's proposal to reduce tensions between the two countries and also seeking cancellation of annual South Korean military drills with the United States.

This is not the first time in this year that North Korea had launched short-range projectiles. Earlier, North Korea had run many missile and rocket tests.

Both the countries also earlier exchanged artillery fire along a disputed western sea boundary.
