Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet his counterpart Stephen Harper on Wednesday
Ottawa, April 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi who arrived in Canadian capital Ottwa Tuesday is set to meet his counterpart Stephen Harper in a tete-a-tete meeting in his office on Parliament Hill on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Modi will receive a ceremony with military honours at 9:40 a.m. He is set to meet Governor-General David Johnston at Rideau Hall on Wednesday morning.
Harper will participate with Modi in the Hall of Honour walk on Parliament Hill at 10.40 am. Joint statement will be delivered by both the prime ministers at 11 am, Indo Canadian Voice reported.
They will leave for Toronto.
Prime Minister Modi will address Indo-Canadian gathering in Toronto. PM Modi is likely to meet with the heads of pension funds, insurance companies and banks in Toronto on Thursday.
He will visit the Air India Memorial in Etobicoke accompanied by Harper and his wife, Laureen Harper.

On Thursday afternoon, PM Modi will leave for Vancouver, where he will visit Khalsa Diwan Society's Ross Street Gurdwara and Sri Laxmi Narayan Temple in Surrey. He will attend a state dinner with Prime Minister Harper at the Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront Hotel.
