PM Modi’s Pak visit: Nawaz Sharif reaches Lahore airport
Lahore, Dec 25: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached at the airport in Lahore to receive his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced his visit to Pakistan on micro blogging site Twitter before leaving Kabul.
Special security arrangements have been put in place for this surprise visit to the neighbouring nation.
Meanwhile at Lahore Airport flight operations have been severely affected with flights being diverted or being grounded while high security presence is already in place.
Modi tweeted, "Looking forward to meeting PM Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today afternoon, where I will drop by on my way back to Delhi."
