People want Michelle Obama to run for President in 2020
Michelle Obama has on many occasions said that she would not enter politics.
Washington, Nov 10: A day after Donald Trump was declared as the President-elect in the US Presidential elections, a lot of people around the world are still yet to come to terms with the news.
Several people, who did not seem pleased with Trump winning the elections, quickly took to Twitter to express their displeasure and said that they wanted Michelle Obama to run for President in 2020.
During the recently concluded elections, Michelle Obama who campaigned for Hillary Clinton seemed to have vowed people with her powerful speeches. A favourite among Americans, Michelle is known for her composure, elegance and grace.
Her popularity reached new heights as she campaigned for Clinton and raised important issues like race and gender during her speeches. Known for her strong opinions on education for the girl child, Michelle has on many ocacsions said that she would not enter politics.
Clinton, on the other hand, thanked Barack and Michelle Obama in her concession speech on Wednesday and said: "To Barack and Michelle Obama, our country owes you an enormous debt of gratitude," she said.
"We thank you for your graceful, determined leadership that has meant so much to so many Americans and people across the world."
