The death toll in the Paris attack has risen to over 120, BBC reports. The highest number of casualties were at the Bataclan concert hall in central Paris where gunmen are said to have taken scores of hostages.
The French security forces have reportedly killed five of the attackers so far. The death toll has risen to over 120 and French officials are not ruling out more casualties. Several persons died in a suicide blast near the Stade de France and gun attacks on city centre restaurants.
An advisory has been issued in Paris asking all residents to stay indoors as 1500 military personnel continue to carry out counter-terror operations. The highest number of casualties were reported at the Bataclan concert centre and reports suggest most of the people were shot dead after being taken hostage. According to AFP nearly 100 persons died in at the Bataclan.
