Pakistan: Video game on Peshawar school massacre removed after uproar
Islamabad, Jan 19: A video game based on the Peshawar school attack has been removed after it created uproar on social media.
The video game "Pakistan Army Retribution", based on Army School attack in Peshawar, released by the Punjab IT board on Google Play, was removed on Monday.
More than 150 people most of them were children were massacred when nine Taliban gunmen stormed the school campus in Peshawar on December 16, 2014.
The game was criticised by the social media users and game makers were lambasted for exploiting the tragedy.
By Monday afternoon, the game was no longer available on Google Play.

Pakistan lifted moratorium on the death penalty in the wake of the massacre by the Taliban. The moratorium was imposed in 2008.
