Karachi, Dec 24: A toddler had to pay for her life as she was denied entry to the hospital in Pakistan's port city of Karachi due to security protocol of Bilawal Bhutto, media reported.
The incident took place at the Civil Hospital in Karachi when Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was there to attend the inauguration ceremony of a trauma centre, reported Geo TV.
The victim who was suffering from a breathing ailment was denied entry to the hospital for hours where strict security arrangements were put in place for Bilawal's visit.
"I was stuck here for an hour. Doctors said the child's life may have been saved if I would have brought her 10 minutes earlier. She died in ten minutes," said victim's father Faisal who resides in the PPP stronghold of Lyari.
