Pakistan security forces kill 13 militants in Balochistan
Islamabad, April 13: At least 13 militants were killed on Monday after Pakistan security forces carried out an offensive against them in Balochistan province, media reported.
The militants were allegedly involved in killing of 20 construction workers in Turbat on Saturday, killed in a joint operation carried out by Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and intelligence agencies forces in Kech district of the Balochistan province, Dawn online reported.
Twenty construction workers were killed and three others were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them while they were sleeping in their camp near Turbat.
The victims belonged to Sindh and Punjab provinces, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti had said at the time, adding that they were working for a private construction company and building a bridge over a stream in Gogdan.

After the attack on labourers, security forces launched a massive operation in Turbat in pursuit of the killers.
Turbat is considered as among the sensitive districts in Balochistan. It is also the home town of Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch.
