Pakistan not to accept India as 'regional policeman'
The authorities made the comments while speaking on terrorism in Pakistan and the alleged funding by neighbours like India and Afghanistan to destructive elements functioning on its soil.
A high-level meeting was held here recently under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to review the national security scenario and it was attended by Advisor to Sharif on national security and foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz, Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan, army chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani and other top officials.

At the meeting, it was decided that Pakistan would make it clear to the US that it would not accept India as the regional policeman for that would further strain the already bruised relation between the two neighbours.
Both the political and military establishment asserted that while Pakistan would not interfere in the internal affairs of its neighbours, it would also not accept others to meddle in its internal issues.
