Thousands of people on Tuesday protested against atrocities carried out by Pakistani establishment and shouted pro-India slogans in various areas of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) including Gilgit, Kotli and Muzaffarabad.
According to reports, the residents of PoK find India better than Pakistan. The cries of freedom from Pakistan and proof of human rights violation have been reported from the PoK many times and Pakistan has always denied it.
Pakistan has claimed that Gilgit- Baltistan and Kashmir were its part and not disputed territories.
A video exclusively available with CNN-IBN shows youth, upset over lack of development in the area shouting slogans seeking freedom from Pakistan.
Reacting over the video, the Pakistan government has termed it as a doctored one.
Kashmir has been bone of contention between India and Pakistan since they got independence in 1947 from British government. Recently, Islamabad derailed NSA-level talks by including Kashmiri separatists in the dialogue process as India protested their inclusion.
