One killed as teenager opens fire in Oregon School

US: Teenager opens fire in Oregon school
Troutdale, Oregon (US), June 11: Shooting incidents returned to haunt the citizens of United States when a teenage gunman opened fire at a school in Oregon.

The gunman had allegedly used a rifle and killed a student and injured a teacher shortly after classes began. The police said that the gunman reportedly went to the bathroom where they found him slumped on a toilet and said that he had likely killed himself.

This comes to light after a series of shooting incidents on school campuses were reported in US.

The 14-year-old victim was killed in the boys locker room. Students were eventually led from the school with hands on their heads. Parents and students were reunited in a supermarket parking lot.

This incident has again raised the issue of gun control in the US. US President Barack Obama had said that stricter laws will be enforced in order to control the sale of arms in the country.
