One person has been detained in connection with the bomb attack on the German soccer team. The police are treating it as a case of terrorism. One person has been temporarily detained in connection with the case, spokeswoman for the federal prosecutor's office Frauke Koehler said.
That person is one of two suspects whose homes have been searched by investigators, she said. Both suspects are from the "Islamist spectrum," Koehler said. One of several claims of responsibility for the attack mentioned a demand for the withdrawal of German Tornado jets from Syria and the closure of the US Air Force's Ramstein air base in Germany, CNN reported.

A player was injured with reports mentioning that the injured player was Marc Bartra. He was taken to hospital immediately. However, there were no reports of other injuries.
The German club were scheduled to take on Monaco in the game to be played at the Westfalenstadion. Three explosions reportedly went off near the team bus as investigators are yet to ascertain the cause of the explosions.
North Rhine-Westphalia police spokesman Gunnar Wortmann told The Associated Press that there were "three explosions near the team bus as they left the hotel to go to the stadium" and that "there was one player injured inside and damage to a window."
This was the second time that a soccer match in Germany has been postponed amid security concerns in recent times. Earlier in November 2015, Germany's international soccer friendly against the Netherlands was canceled ahead of kickoff after police feared an explosive device might be detonated at the stadium in Hannover.
