Washington, Apr 6: The latest family picture of the Obamas, looking exceptionally stylish on the joyous occasion of Easter is out.

The White House released a photo of the first family, including the first dogs Bo and Sunny, via Instagram with the caption "From the Obama family to yours, Happy Easter!"

"The Obamas looked exceptionally stylish" when they attended Easter service at Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia, yesterday, Huffington Post commented.

President Barack Obama, 53, kept it simple in a dark gray tailored suit. His lavender tie was the perfect accent for the celebratory day.

First lady Michelle Obama opted for a teal hued, sleeveless sheath dress to fete the holiday.

"The dress stays true to FLOTUS's signature style of wearing vibrant, form-fitting frocks. Last year she donned an all white dress with a matching cardigan, so we're glad she's back to showing off her more colorful side," Huffington Post said on the 51-year-old Michelle.

Malia and Sasha, the two teenaged daughters of Obama, wore a few eye-catching looks of their own.

While Malia, 16, wore a navy-and-white printed dress, Sasha, 13, decided to rock an orange-and-yellow colourblocked dress with a thin white belt.

"These ladies have literally grown up before our eyes and have definitely shaped their personal styles over the years," the report said.

During the church service at Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, Pastor Howard-John Wesley welcomed the first family to the congregation.

"How fitting that on the day we celebrate the rising of our Lord and Savior, we also welcome our sitting president," Wesley said to applause from enthusiastic worshippers.

He also urged to worshippers to keep their mobile phones in their pockets. "This is not selfie time," he said to laughter.

"Let the brother worship in the house of God." Ahead of Good Friday and Easter, Obama had said, "I hope that among our many blessings, we pause and give thanks for the chance to live in a country where everyone has the right to worship and pray and love as they choose."
