Malala humbled by Noble Prize nomination
Islamabad, Oct 10:  Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani teenager Who was shot in the head by the Taliban for advocating the education of girls, has said that she was hugely honoured by her nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize.

However, what was more important for her was the support she received from across the world, including India, Pakistan, the US and Britain, The News international on Thursday quoted her as telling a Canadian TV channel in an interview.

Malala: I believe in equality between men and women

In a separate interview to an American TV channel, Malala said that she realised the importance of education when she was stopped from going to school and added that this also proved that terrorists were afraid of education.

"I believe in equality, and there is no difference between men and women," she was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile the Pakistan Taliban have issued fresh threats to attack her again saying that she was against Islam and the Taliban.
