PM Narendra Modi landed at JFK airport in New York at 22.00 pm (IST). Modi was clad in a deep maroon bandh gala and a pair of black trousers upon his 5-day arrival in the US.

12.15 pm: PM Modi shakes hands with some people and waves at them, by coming out of his huge convoy, as his supporters carry huge placards holding 'Indian American loves Modi', 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', amid chants of praising Modi.
12.00 pm: PM leaves his huge convoy to meet a large number of Indians gathered outside his hotel at New York in mid town Manhattan.
