Ankara, June 30: The Istanbul Police on Thursday (June 30) detained 13 peopel in connection with the deadly terror attack at the city's Ataturk Airport late on Tuesday (June 28). Those detained had at least three foreigners.
Forty-two people were killed while almost 240 people were injured in the latest of a series of terror attacks that have devastated the country since last year.
The police launched raidsbefore sunrise simultaneously on 16 addresses around Istanbul.
A group of Daesh terrorists targeted the Ataturk airport, the third busiest in Europe. Three out of eight terrorists blew themselves up after the security forces retaliated following their opening fire with Kalashnikovs.
The three are a Russian, Kazakh, and Uzbek national.
