An Israeli war jet fired a missile at a group of Palestinians sitting near a mosque in Jabalia area in northern Gaza Strip, killing three and wounding five others, two of them critically, Xinhua reported.
Overnight, two more Palestinians were killed in another air strike on the central Gaza Strip town of Deir el-Ballah. Witnesses said the two were members in Hamas movement.
The Palestinian health ministry said in a press statement since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip early on Tuesday, 111 Palestinians have been killed and 780 wounded.
The ministry said two-third of the casualties and fatalities are civilians, children, women and old men, adding that there is a severe shortage on medical and health services that the hospitals in the Gaza Strip provide.
