London, March 3: After executing various western hostages, the dreaded Islamic group ISIS has targeted Billionaire Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of the micro-blogging site Twitter and threatened to behead employees for deleting the accounts of jihadis.

An online post that was posted on JustPaste.it on Sunday, March 1 is written in Arabic and claims, 'Your virtual war on us will cause a real war on you', along with a pic of Dorsey in cross hairs.

The ISIS warning to Twitter came as the site "suspends any profiles that violate its terms of service, which ban threats of violence and anything furthering illegal activities."

As per the translation by BuzzFeed, the threatening post says, "You started this failed war. We told you from the beginning it's not your war, but you didn't get it and kept closing our accounts on Twitter, but we always come back."

The threat said in Arabic that "Twitter (is) a target for the caliphate".

"But when our lions come and take your breath, you will never come back to life."

"Twitter employees' necks would "become a target for the soldiers of the Caliphate" already claimed to be in their midst", it says.

"Picture your staff being attacked by a jihadist on the way home from a pub and decapitated. Imagine the scene and wait for its occurrence at any moment, and the earliest opportunity" it further says.

"For the ‘individual jihadi' all over the world, target the Twitter company and its interests in any place, people, and buildings, and don't allow any one of the atheists to survive", it continues.

Meanwhile, Twitter spokesperson told BuzzFeed News, "Our security team is investigating the veracity of these threats with relevant law enforcement officials."

In September 2014, Twitter was warned by the ISIS that its San Francisco headquarters will be attacked if it continue to suspend their accounts, The Independent reported.

Since last June, Twitter, together with other social networks, has been closing accounts of IS supporters. Twitter was founded in 2006 and has more than 500 million users.
