New Delhi, Nov 14: With over a 100 deaths being reported in Paris following a coordinated attack by terrorists, members and sympathizers of the ISIS have erupted in joy with celebratory messages. Several twitter handles being run by pro ISIS members were congratulating each other on the Paris attack. Meanwhile reports suggest that the death toll has risen to 140.
Some of the handles were even using the hashtag Paris on Fire. The ISIS has however not claimed responsibility for the attack. Intelligence officials in France say that it could be the handiwork of the ISIS returnees from Syria, a threat that they had warned about several months back.
The main shooting broke out at the popular concert hall, The Bataclan, where the American band the Eagles of Death Metal was playing. The casualties at this concert venue were the highest. Earlier it was reported that over 100 persons had been taken hostage. However French security forces stormed the venue and killed the two gunmen. The French media has reported that the Kalashnikov was used by the gunmen and earlier eye witnesses had reported automatic gunfire being heard from the Bataclan.
