ISIS launches app for children to teach Arabic alphabet

Washington, May 13: The Islamic State (ISIS) has reportedly launched a mobile application exclusively for children to teach them Arabic alphabet.

The reported app, launched by the 'Library of Zeal' will teach jihadist themes and words like 'tank', 'gun' and 'rocket' frequently used by the ISIS militants.

The app was launched through its messaging channels and on other file sharing websites on Tuesday, reported the Independent.

The app has games which will help children to memorise and how to write the Arabic letters. 'Nasheed' -- a cappella Islamic songs is also available within the app.

Many terminologies frequently used by ISIS militants like 'tank', 'gun' and ' rocket are among the first few taught within the application.

Many videos produced by the ISIS has shown children being trained for jihad or being indoctrinated at the schools run by the group. Children's were also used by the group in their execution and beheading videos.
