Indian national charged with visa fraud in US
New York, June 2: An Indian national claiming to be associated with Bollywood was charged with visa fraud at an airport in US, media reported.
Indian national identified Sukhpal Veer Singh arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York with a visa issued by the US Embassy in New Delhi that had been revoked last month "due to irregularities in the application," reported New York Daily News on Monday.
Sukhpal claimed that he was a production manager for a Bollywood film studio. A complaint has been filed against him in Brooklyn Federal Court.
He claimed himself be an employee of Seven Star Film Productions, but when pressed by Customs and Border Protection officers, admitted he was unemployed.
